Arthropathy

This is a condition where the shoulder joint goes into an inflammatory phase caused by several factors leading to arthritis. It maybe due to ageing process, over used, infection, autoimmune disease or massive rotator cuff tears.

Destruction of the joint cartilage, reduction in joint space, proximal migration of the humeral head, limitation of joint movement, crepitus and pain are the symptoms and signs of an arthritic joint.
